The contemporary gender configurations and the insistence of the desire

Resumos

This paper intends to propose some questions about the psychoanalyst’s resistances to the brand-new configurations of gender (and bodies) at the contemporary. It supposes further the persistence of the desire as a thing that allows the reformulation of the analytical doxa, considering these modifications as an enlargement of the symbolical universe — that results in several consequences in the clinical´s listening effectivity. Therefore, we reassert the ethics of desire against the real while unrepresentable and the bet of writing against the impossibility of sexual relationship. Starting with a short appreciation of a Spanish film maker Pedro Almodóvar´s film “Todo Sobre Mi Madre” (Spain, 1999), we vindicate, at last, an imposition of a time to understand the changes in progress at our field, in order to have sensitive conclusions about the brand-new possibilities of sexual arrangements showing in the clinic.
